Kitchen Makeover

Kitchen Makeover
 Pine Drawer and door fronts.

Before Shots

 Kitchen base is shot

New Countertops, sink base, Granite Tile. I'm actually swapping out the old dishwasher for one that I got from another remodel that I had done several years ago.

New sink base.

My wife wanted a single sink. With the 2" thick new countertop, The clips that come to mount this type of sink to the underside of the countertop didn't work. The new sink is siliconized in. The spackle bucket is weighing it down overnight.

My wife wanted a single sink instead of a double. That required new plumbing. I had a defective flexible compression line that I had to return. I have never had a problem with the modern compression lines before. I am actually a big fan of them.
The replacement dishwasher is a Maytag. I will have to change the water inlet on it.

New Doors and Drawer Fronts

I found black crystal knobs on Amazon which I ordered and installed. I thought they'd be a nice accent to the new countertops.

The next stage will be a new floor in which I may go with a vinyl plank for, new kickplates, a subway tile backsplash and then paint. I'll probably do the walls in a light gray and soffits with a light blue.

Cost so far as materials are concerned, about 750.00.
