A Shocker For All My Friends


I have been blogging for years and someone recently made a comment about sharing personal parts of our lives with our friends. I know that I have seen personal photos of just about all those that I call friends on here. Last night my daughter found some photos I thought long lost. I searched and searched when everyone was posting child hood pictures of them selves and I must admit that very few were taken of me. I only knew of one and I wished that I had it, it has been found so now I can share too. The following picture is of my first day of school so don't laff at me.




The 1st Day Of Kindergarten




The next picture is described to me as the Dukes Of Hazards by my daughters. It is of my brother and myself. I'm the one in the front wearing the glasses. This picture was taken about 31/2 years ago. It was the last picture taken of my brother and myself for he died of cancer a short time later.

    Sweet pictures. Your brother looks like a hippy in that photo! I can see why your daughter says it's the Dukes of Hazard....you two good old boys!

    Ah Mac you look so sweet and innocent in that first pic....(what happened to ya?lol). Great pics Mac, now go make reprints so all of your kids can have a copy. It's one thing they will treasure down the road especially if you don't have too many photos.

    Mac I think you were just so cute as a little boy. Now in the older picture....you look nothing like I thought you would..I figured you were old and balding. lol Sorry to hear about your brother, I know you must regret not having him around now. Keep that picture safe!

    umm Judith wasn't the only one who thought you were "old and balding". It must have been that chef's picture you used to have on there. It's a great pic and one I'm sure you'll always treasure. Sorry for your loss, Mac.

    Boy I agree...Get some copies made up pronto and hand them out. Don't forget to write on the back too. Sorry to hear of your loss with your brother. I wouldn't say 1st day you was cute..I'd say more like Handsome. Boys don't like to be called cute...lol (psst really Mac you was cute)

    What precious memory photo's Mac! I'm so sorry about the loss of your brother.
    I too have few pics of me as a child...well I have none as a baby. If I didn't look so much like a younger version of my Dad's Mom...I would think I was adopted...lol.

    wow, then those pictures are a treasure. I value the pics of have of my parents (deceased). Im sure you get that comforting feeling each time you look at that photo.
